SIEMPRE SEREMOS FAMILIA

The Detective Miosotis Familia Organization is a 501c(3) charity organization that was founded to honor the heroism and legacy of Detective Miosotis Familia who was assassinated in the line of duty on July 5th, 2017. Officer Familia was killed in cold bold, and was targeted solely for the blue NYPD uniform that she proudly wore.

Detective Familia was a single mother who raised her three children on her own–Genesis, Peter, and Delilah–who were orphaned when their mother was killed. 

The mission of The Detective Miosotis Familia Organization is to provide support to the children and orphans of fallen law enforcement officers across America, as well as encourage the youth to pursue careers in law enforcement.
